The Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal passes through Pencelli village and by the side of the park. Fish for Perch, Dace, Carp, Bream, Eels, etc. For Permit and more details Tel: 01873 830328.
The River Usk is famous for its salmon and Brown Trout. Most of the river is privately owned but there are several platforms from where to fish in the Brecon area. For Permits and more details: 01874 622977
The River Wye is noted for its Salmon but is also a good place to catch Coarse fish such as Pike, Dace, Perch, Chubb, etc. For permits and more details: 01497 847227.
There are several Reservoirs within the locality. All of which are in the Mountains and make a lovely days fishing. Just take your fishing tackle and sandwiches and enjoy the peace and tranquility but, mind to look around and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
